Acorn & Seedling Rooms - Our littlest friends
The Acorn and Seedling Rooms provide individualized care for our youngest children. With a low staff to child ratio (varying between 1 to 3 and 1 to 4) our days are filled with opportunities to engage with the world and begin to socialize. Whether it is taking walks outside, exploring the classroom with their classmates, engaging in play invitations the teachers have set up, or just snuggling and reading, we strive to provide a nurturing home-like setting for all.
A Typical Day
OPFS opens at 7am - arrival times are flexible

Individualized Care
Bottles (breastmilk or formula) are given on demand as newborns eventually sync into a more predictable meal and nap schedule. We ask that families provide food from home for the first year until babies transition from bottles to table food and eventually to the meals provided by OPFS. Meals and snack menus are provided monthly and are customized for our youngest eaters!
We believe in lots of communication and encourage families to reach out to our teachers (through our Brightwheel app or in person) with any questions, concerns, or requests. Caring for our littlest friends is a team effort!
